Join UWRF for week of Homecoming activities

RIVER FALLS – The University of Wisconsin- River Falls invites the public to share in the exciting and social media worthy experiences of Homecoming.

Throughout the week of Sept. 26 to Oct. 2, both traditional and new Homecoming festivities will bring together students, families, alums and the River Falls community for a week of fun and celebration of all things UWRF.

“Homecoming is a wonderful weekend for the UWRF community to reconnect with the university and their lifelong friends,” said Pedro Renta, director of Alumni Relations. “It is a chance to reminisce, share their professional and personal successes and be a part of the Falcon family. We look forward to welcoming our Falcons back home!”

Featured events include: Homecooked Homecoming Meal, Monday, Sept. 26, 5:30-7 p.m., Pete’s Creek patio, University Center. Professor Jake’s Bean Soup is a Homecoming tradition. Free and open to the public to kick ou Homecoming Week. Hosted by UWRF Greek Life.

Homecoming Volleyball Game, Friday, Sept. 30, 7 p.m., Page Arena at Falcon Center. Falcons vs. UW-Whitewater.

SciTech Update, Saturday, Oct. 1, 9-9:45 a.m., 120 South Hall. Learn about the newest building coming to UWRF and how you can support innovation on campus and in the community.

Homecoming Parade, Saturday, Oct. 1, 11 a.m., downtown River Falls. See UWRF’s Falcon spirit come alive! Don’t forget to bring a bucket or bag to hold all your candy!

Homecoming Football Game, Saturday, Oct. 1, 1 p.m., David Smith Stadium at Ramer Field. Falcons vs. UW-Stevens Point.

Homecoming 2022 Concert, Sunday, Oct. 2, 2 p.m., Abbott Concert Hall, Kleinpell Fine Arts building. Featuring symphony band, choir and alumni choir members. Admission is $8/adult, $5/seniors and $2/students.
