The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Sept. 12-19.

Monday, Sept. 12

Officers responded at 12:32 a.m. to N525 Foote Ave., Spring Valley to a physical domestic no longer in progress. The man had fled in a blue sedan. Police located him and arrested him for OWI-third.

Deputies responded at 2:05 a.m. to Main Street and Highway 10 in Plum City for a suspicious abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was unoccupied but off the roadway.

Police were dispatched at 9:56 a.m. to the area of 830th Street and County Road K, Hager City, for a complaint of loose goats. A deputy helped round up the loose animals.

At 11:27 a.m., police responded to W7858 170th Ave., Hager City for a storage unit break-in. Two youth dirt bikes and two youth helmets were taken from the unit.

Officers responded at 3:54 p.m. to N6385 1297th St., Prescott, for a possible temporary restraining order violation. The complainant had no proof that a violation had occurred.

Deputies were called at 5:33 p.m. to the 600 block of Main Street in Plum City for a suicidal person. The person said they wanted to go to the hospital on their own.

Police responded to a dispute at 10:36 p.m. at W6274 Highway 29, River Falls. The parties were separated for the night and one went to stay with a friend.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

A caller reported a suspicious semi parked at the school at 12:40 a.m. at 213 S. Scott St., Elmwood. The driver had an early morning delivery at the playground in the morning.

Deputies responded at 1:34 a.m. to an alarm at W7923 185th Ave., Hager City. The home owner said the alarm was faulty. Everything appeared to be secure.

At 2:22 a.m., police responded to the area of W5373 801st Ave., Spring Valley, for a report of possible sexual activity between multiple subjects in several yard in the neighborhood. No one was located and police advised the complainant to call police when the activity was occurring, since it had gone on an hour ago.

Police were called at 4:26 a.m. to W12074 620th Ave., Prescott for an intoxicated man who wanted to go to the hospital. EMS arrived to transport him.

A vehicle struck a mailbox at 8:09 a.m. near County Road C and 490th Avenue, Ellsworth. The driver remained on scene to make a report.

Officers took a vandalism and theft report at 9:22 a.m. concerning storage units at W7605 Highway 35, Hager City. The owner was going to contact his renters to inform them of the break-ins and find out if anything was missing.

At 9:58 a.m., police were requested by Sex Offender Registry to make contact with a man to verify he’s living at N1932 County Road K, Hager City. The man’s wife said she’d have him call back when he got home.

Officers responded at 11:18 a.m. to the area of 810th Street in Hager City for a juvenile who had threatened suicide and said they took pills before leaving home on foot. The juvenile was located and said they did not take any pills; they were just angry with a parent. Northwest Connections was consulted to set up a safety plan.

A caller reported a theft at 12:23 p.m. at N735 825th St., Hager City. A friend who had stayed the night had removed several items without permission while the homeowner was away. Police followed up with the suspect.

A woman called police at 2:51 p.m. to report an aggressive neighbor dog at W763 County Road G, Elmwood. The woman said the dog is aggressive when people walk by. The dog’s owner said the dog never leaves the yard and just barks. He said he’d attempt to keep a closer eye on the dog while people are out walking.

Police responded to a suspicious vehicle/man complaint at 3:02 p.m. near N4485 1055th St., Prescott. No one was found.

Deputies were called at 7:04 p.m. to the area of W8405 County Road KK, Ellsworth, for stolen car parts. The complainant was not the owner, so police advised him to tell the owner to make a report.

Officers were dispatched at 7:20 p.m. to N650 825th St., Hager City, for several juveniles trespassing. They were fishing and refused to leave. They were given a verbal warning and advised if they returned, they’d be cited.

A caller reported an injured coyote at 7:54 p.m. near W4767 890th Ave., Baldwin. The complainant thought it ran into the woods, but it wasn’t located.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

Deputies assisted Prescott police with an assault at 4:02 a.m. at 1225 Ash St. The suspect was not located.

A damaged pop machine was reported at 7:11 a.m. at W8069 170th Ave., Hager City.

At 9:46 a.m., a man was asked to leave the 63 Express (N1817 785th St., Hager City as well as Knutson Trucking. He was argumentative but eventually left. He was told to not come back.

Deputies responded to a suspicious man complaint at 11:40 a.m. near Maple and Kinne streets. The man was looking for his lost phone. He was advised to stay out of people’s yards.

At 1:37 p.m., a caller reported finding a pile of dead pigeons, shot gun shells and alcohol bottled dumped at N4660 1165th St., Prescott sometime in the past two weeks. He requested extra patrol.

Officers responded to a verbal dispute between neighbors at 3:49 p.m. at N6047 County Road E, River Falls. All parties were separated.

A caller at W8917 340th Ave., Hager City, reported fraud at 4 p.m. He bought a wood broiler from a business in Alabama that is “being less than prompt” in shipping it.

The DNR was informed of a dead eagle at 4:10 p.m. near N7219 County Road CC, Spring Valley. It was hit by a car.

At 11:54 p.m., a complainant reported hearing yelling at W6684 150th Ave., Bay City. The male suspect said he was yelling because he was upset with his brother, who was not there. He said he’d go to bed.

Thursday, Sept. 15

Police took a report of a shattered vehicle window at 5:41 a.m. at W3591 160th Ave., Maiden Rock.

Officers spoke with two fighting roommates at 5:44 a.m. at W2332 County Road G, Elmwood. A plan to separate was worked out and police explained eviction laws to the landlord.

At 7:19 a.m., police responded to possible vehicle break-ins at N1566 County Road VV, Hager City. The property resident said the male suspects were allowed on the property and had already left. A caller at N1566 County Road VV, Hager City, reported at 9:27 a.m. that a friend had been working on her vehicle but will now no longer speak to her nor give the vehicle back. The vehicle was located and returned.

At 10:56 a.m., a call came in about a woman on the side of the road near County Road J and Highway 65, Beldenville. The woman had just been released from jail and was waiting for a ride.

A caller requested extra patrol at 11:22 a.m. at N5242 635th St., Ellsworth. UPS trucks had been having the gas siphoned from them overnight.

A woman reported man parked in her yard at 4:18 p.m. at N735 825th St., Hager City. The man left, so the complainant cancelled her plea for help.

A vehicle pulled off the road and shut its lights off after police witnessed it speeding at 9:26 p.m. near Highway 29 and County Road E, River Falls. The driver was cited for operating after revocation and speeding. The passenger was arrested for an out-of-county warrant.

A driver was arrested for a warrant, OWI, possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop for a warrant at 9:59 p.m. near Highway 10 and 870th Street, Ellsworht.

Friday, Sept. 16

Police responded at 1:16 a.m. to a domestic argument at W5373 801st Ave., Spring Valley. A woman believed her husband has been involved in recent suspicious activity in the neighborhood. They were separated for the evening.

Officers were called to a possible domestic at 1:38 a.m. at W3571 Highway 35, Maiden Rock. The parties were separated for the evening.

Deputies stood by and kept the peace while a person retrieved property at 8:24 a.m. at N6385 1297th St., Prescott.

A complainant reported property theft at 8:40 a.m. at N7488 110th St., Spring Valley. It was determined to be a civil issue.

At 11:13 a.m., police stopped a vehicle for displaying false plates near 610th Avenue and 110th Street, Elmwood. The driver was arrested for operating after revocation, possession of THC, possess drug paraphernalia and bail jumping. The driver was also cited for operating a vehicle without insurance and displaying false plates.

A caller at 5:45 p.m. reported a low-flying plane near 490th Street and 330th Avenue, Ellsworth. The plane wasn’t located.

A caller requested police check for a goat running down the road at 7:46 p.m. near Highway 63 and 830th Street, Hager City. No goat was found.

Officers responded to a rollover crash with injuries at 9:12 p.m. near Highway 35 and 1220th Street, Prescott. One driver was arrested for OWI-third and transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with undisclosed injuries.

Caller responded at 11:54 p.m. to N673 825th St., Hager City, for an intoxicated person, who was awake and cooperative when police arrived. Police offered him a ride home to Red Wing, but he refused repeatedly. He was told he could not stay at the Harbor Bar, so he decided to walk on his own and left on foot.

Saturday, Sept. 17

Deputies responded to a possible domestic at 1:10 a.m. at N8052 925th St., River Falls. The complainant said a woman had been physically assaulted by a man during an argument. He was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and domestic battery.

Police responded at 8:59 a.m. to W1095 890th Ave., Spring Valley for a trespassing complaint. One of the property owners had given the suspect permission to hunt on the land.

Officers responded to a one-vehicle crash at 9:25 a.m. at 70th Avenue and 250th Street, Stockholm. No one was at the scene. The vehicle was towed. Later, the vehicle’s owner said the road had been muddy and slippery and he went into the ditch and overturned.

Deputies were called at 10:54 a.m. to W5168 410th Ave., Ellsworth for deceased man found in a residence. Nothing appeared to be suspicious.

Officers responded at 11:22 to the Esdaile area near 620th Street and 300th Avenue for an unconscious male in a single-motorcycle crash. An accident report will be completed.

Police received a complaint of motorcycle blocking homeowner access at 12:49 p.m. at W10045 290th Ave., Hager City.

A passerby removed a large turtle from the road at 3:54 p.m. near County Road O and 710th Avenue, River Falls.

Officers responded at 6:39 p.m. to a suspicious activity complaint at N7536 County Road O, River Falls. A person had parked their car near the road and trespassed on private property. Two people said they were rock hunting. The man was arrested for a contempt of court warrant and transported to Pierce County Jail. The woman was given a courtesy ride to River Falls.

Deputies were asked to perform a welfare check on a man slumped over the wheel at 7:55 p.m. near 50th and 45th streets, Spring Valley. The man was okay.

An anonymous caller reported an underage party and fight that allegedly took place at 10:22 p.m. at W9463 690th Ave., River Falls. Police responded but located no underage drinkers. People there said a disagreement had occurred earlier, but that party had left.

Deputies assisted River Falls police with a noise complaint at 11:43 p.m. at 414 S. Sixth St.

Sunday, Sept. 18

At 4:41 a.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle in her driveway at S504 Newman Ave., Spring Valley. It was determined the complainant’s granddaughter had borrowed the vehicle and parked it there.

Officers responded at 6:41 a.m. to N8120 900th St., River Falls, for a one-vehicle rollover. The driver was found at home uninjured and cited for failure to keep control of a vehicle, failure to notify law enforcement of a crash and hit and run property damage.

Police were called to a vehicle fire at 11:26 a.m. near County Road S and 190th Street, Plum City. The operator said he got out to open a gate, heard a noise and the truck started on fire.

A caller reported a theft at 2:54 p.m. at N5556 950th St., Ellsworth. It turned out to be a Minnesota case.

Police were asked to perform a welfare check at 3:15 p.m. at N8273 965th St., River Falls. A man was found deceased.

Correctional staff handled a fight in progress at the jail at 5:37 p.m.

At 7:10 p.m., a caller reported suspicious activity/ illegal dumping at N1428 810th St., Hager City. The garbage bag contained a dead animal.

At 8:33 p.m., a caller reported finding vehicle debris near Highway 65 and 790th Street, Beldenville. Police responded a located a rollover crash in the west ditch and two men in the woods nearby. Both were transported to River Falls Area Hospital with undisclosed injuries.

At 10:06 p.m., a caller reported that her debit card had been taken at N1090 825th St., Hager City and charged with drinks she did not ask for. She was advised to cancel the card.

Monday, Sept. 19

Police responded to a property damage complaint at the post office (W6372 Main St., Bay City) at 7:15 a.m.

Police checked on people sleeping in a vehicle at 8:05 a.m. at storage units (W6418 Highway 35, Bay City). They said they had gotten tired the night before and stopped to take a nap.
