PRESCOTT – Join us at the Senior Gathering Place if you are 55 years and older. Meet us at 1220 St. Croix St., Prescott, Door 5 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 22: At 1 p.m., speakers will be students from Prescott High School who enjoyed an opportunity to travel abroad recently. Come hear about their adventure and see photos of the trip. Find out where they travel to next.
Tuesday, Sept. 27: At 1 p.m. the Book Club will meet and discuss “The Sentence” by Louise Erdrich.
Wednesday, Sept. 28:
Play cards from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Join your friends in euchre, bridge or a game of your choice.
Thursday, Sept.
29: The Gathering Place will be closed. Fun physical activities continue this fall outside.
Pickleball meets at 9 a.m. on Monday and Wednesday at the Middle School tennis courts. Call Arlene Crane with any questions at 612-396-4063.
Walking Group meets on Tuesdays at 9 a.m. at the track by Malone Intermediate School or Door 5. Route to be determined by walkers.
10:30-11 a.m. on Wednesdays meet at the Gathering Place for Senior Cardio Strength and at 11:05-11:35 a.m. Wednesdays for Senior Chair Yoga. These two activities are led by YMCA stau in the MIS gym.
