PRESCOTT – On Saturday, Nov. 6, 2022, 17 students from Prescott Intermediate and Middle Schools displayed their talents at the annual Drama Rama tournament held at Osceola Intermediate School.
Students in third through eighth grade from Baldwin- Woodville, Amery, Osceola, and Prescott competed in the Published Manuscript, Solo, and Extemporaneous categories. They were judged on Voice, Character, Stage Movement, and Interpretation of their Play.
The Prescott fourth/fifth grade team coached by Julia Albarado received red ribbons for their performance of “The Care and Feeding of a Dragon” in the Published Manuscript category. Both of the Prescott Middle School Drama Rama teams performed in the Extemporaneous category and received ribbons for their interpretation of the tale of “The Shoemaker and the Elves.” The team coached by Carey Schiller received red ribbons and the team coached by Patsy Hove received blue ribbons for their excellent performances.
