ELLSWORTH – The Ellsworth Public Library has a jam-packed month full of events to kick of the new year, including moving into their new building at 388 W. Main St.

The annual Mystery Quilt Program is getting underway this month. Materials list and cutting instructions are available starting Jan. 9. Clues start Jan. 23 and are released each Monday for six weeks. Stop by or call the library to sign-up or register online at bit. ly/2023eplQuilt to receive information via email.

Morning Book Club, 10:30 a.m. Jan. 12, Senior Center.

Storytime, 10 a.m. Jan. 13, lower level of the library.

Moving week! Jan. 16-23, the library will be closed for moving to our new location at 388 W. Main St. We will not be accepting donations during the closure so hold onto your items. Due dates will be extended automatically.

Grand Opening Open House, 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23. Come get a first look at the new library!

First day! 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 24, the first day open in the new location.

LEGO at the Library, 4 p.m. Jan. 24, new Makerspace

Community Book Club, 6:30 p.m. Jan. 26, Library Meeting Room

Children & Families Open House, 10 a.m. to noon, Jan. 28. Come experience the new RCU Children’s Area and WESTconsin Storytime Playspace with crafts, activities, guest reader storytime, treats, face painting, Pete the Cat and book giveaways.
