PRESCOTT – Just a quick reminder that this Thursday, Jan. 26, we have an informative speaker. At 1 p.m. Prescott Superintendent Dr. Rick Spicuzza will be joined by Prescott Middle School Principal Kyle Igou to talk to us about the impending move this summer. The move involves the Malone Intermediate School and the Middle school switching buildings and the implications for us as Prescott citizens. If you are unable to attend, you can direct your questions to Penny Peterson at 715-262-4676 or email her at [email protected] Tuesday, Jan. 31: Join in card games at 1 p.m. Get a group together for Whist, 500, Canasta or game of your choice.
Wednesday, Feb. 1: The regular gathering of Euchre players and Bridge players at 12:30 p.m Thursday, Feb. 2 is Ground Hog Day! It is also “How to Thursday.”
There will be several GP members who have been relearning Canasta present to help others learn or relearn the game. The weather may be chilly but it is always comfy and warm at the Gathering Place. See you there!
Senior Gathering Place is open to all ages 55 years and older. We are located at 1220 St. Croix St., Door 5. Follow the signs across from the football field and enter at Door 5. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3:30 p.m. If the school is closed due to inclement weather, Gathering Place will be closed too.
