ELMWOOD – The Crain-Ottman American Legion Post 207 is offering a $1,000 scholarship to an Elmwood graduating senior who is planning on furthering their education beyond high school. Requirements are: A) Have a 3.0 GPA or higher. B) Address two essay questions: “What is your definition of Americanism” and “What made you decide on your course of study?”

The Crain-Ottman American Legion Post 207 is also sponsoring Elmwood High School junior boys for participation in Badger Boys State (BBS). The 2025 session will be held June 8-14, 2025 at UW-Eau Claire.

2024’s Badger Boys State and Badger Girls State participants Jaycob Reitz and Cadie Asher are willing to discuss their participation in their 2024 programs with any juniors interested.
