EAU CLAIRE – Chippewa Valley Technical College has a new technical diploma available for individuals who want to be eligible for grade III library director positions in Wisconsin.
The new program, Library Director, is now live on the CVTC website, and the application is open for the fall semester.
The Library Director program is a one-year, 12-credit technical diploma designed for people who have at least 54 college credits and need just a few targeted courses to become eligible for a library director position.
Historically, some students have enrolled in the Library & Information Services Associate Degree program and leave after completing the four courses they need for Wisconsin library director positions. This new option offers those individuals a credential that aligns better with their goals, allowing them to finish with a diploma.
