Ellsworth VB organizes after April election

ELLSWORTH – Village Administrator Clerk/Treasurer Brad Roy administered the oath of office to two new trustees and two incumbents at the April 18 Ellsworth Village Board organizational meeting.

Three trustees were sworn into office, including newcomers Ryan Bench and Tom Schutz and incumbent Andrew Borner. Incumbent Lance Austin was not re-elected and Dale Hines chose not to seek re-election. Roy also swore in Village President Becky Beissel for her second term in the role.

The board approved the following official appointments:

  • President Pro-Tem: Andrew Borner
  • Village Attorney: Bob Loberg, Loberg Law Office
  • Health Officer: Pierce County Public Health
  • Animal Warden/Humane Officer: Chief Eric Ladwig
  • Weed Commissioner: Public Works Director Brad Vick
  • Cemetery Sexton: Village staff
  • Official Depository: CCF Bank
  • Official newspaper: Pierce County Journal

Ellsworth village committees for 2023-24 are comprised of the following people:
