ELMWOOD - The Elmwood High School Class of 2023 commencement ceremony took place at 7 p.m. Friday, May 19 at Elmwood Football Field.

Their class motto was "Together, we have experienced life. Separately, we will pursue our dreams. Forever, our memories remain."

A white carnation is the class flower, class colors are black and silver and the graduation speaker was Mr. Michael Shoup.

Valedictorian Brooke Schwebach and Salutatorian Luisa Eng also spoke to those in attendance.

The Class of 2023 Top 5 students included Schwebach, Eng, Lily Webb, Hannah Forster and Brody Bleskacek.

Those graduating, including two WWVC students, were: Trace Anderson, Trevor Asher, Izak Bechel, Brody Bleskacek, Joseph Carlson, Luisa Eng, Hannah Forster, Isabella Forster, Alexa Gilles, Rylee Hartung, Derik Holmes, Caitlyn Kangas, Garrett Kitchner, Tylor LaCroix, Angel LaPlante, Bennett Luther, Carol Marsh, Chloe Meacham, Yuleisy Muniz Hernandez, Savannah Nevin, Kate Reitz, Brooke Schwebach, Blake Severson, Kyle Trainor, Lily Webb, Francis Weix, Nicole Weix, Rylynn Yoder. WWVC: Alyssa Littlefield and Jax Long.
