To the editor,
National Volunteer Week is April 16-22. It is a week to recognize the immense contributions of volunteers in our school district. More than 600 community members have shown their support for the School District of River Falls this year through registering to volunteer in our buildings and programs. Each week, there are many volunteers in our schools who help individual students, assist teachers, and are involved in activities and events, such as field trips, book fairs, carnivals, teacher conference meals, weekly Popcorn Fridays, and so much more.
Our volunteers bring smiles to our students, provide our teachers with invaluable assistance, and truly make an impact on student achievement. Thank you, volunteers, for your dedication and commitment to our students, teachers, and school district. You truly make a difference! Gratefully,
Lesley Schradle
Volunteer Coordinator
