The Ellsworth Senior Center would like to invite all senior citizens age 50 and greater to the following events to be held at the senior center:

Come and join the Pool Players 1-3 p.m. every Monday and Friday. 

Discovering Together Tuesday: At 11 a.m. May 9, we will gather at Brush Strokes Paint & Art Supply (273 N. Morse St., Ellsworth). This month we’ll be making hydro dipped plant pots. A meal will be provided following the program courtesy of Ellsworth Senior Center and Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library

Euchre Card Players meet at 1 p.m. May 11 and May 25.

The Ellsworth Senior Center is currently planning an outing to Twenty-Two Farms Animal Sanctuary in Baldwin on May 24. We will meet at the Senior Center at 12:30 p.m. and departing via carpooling at 12:40 p.m. There is no cost for the trip. The group will be stopping somewhere for a bite to eat on the way home at your own expense. Please sign up with the Senior Center ahead of time to ensure that we have enough drivers.

Celebrating Seniors Gathering will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 1. Since our February event was cancelled due to bad weather, we will be having Phyllis Beastrom’s presentation per requests. She will have a PowerPoint presentation on the early history of Esdaile and some of the history of Eidsvold Lutheran Church, which celebrated its 150th Anniversary in October. Cake and ice cream will be served following the presentation.

On June 7, we will be headed to the Olson Family Century Farm in Gilman Township. We will meet at the Senior Center at 12:50 p.m. and depart via carpooling at 1 p.m. There is no cost for the trip. Please sign up with the Senior Center ahead of time to ensure that we have enough drivers.

All events are at the Ellsworth Senior Center located in the basement of the old Ellsworth Public Library (312 W. Main St.) Please park in the back parking lot and enter through the back door.
