May 1 – 31: Mini Art Show on Display (Ellsworth Library patrons of all ages made mini works of art in April that will be on display all month long) - History Room Display Case

Storytime: Fridays at 10:10 a.m. - May 5, 12 and 19

Saturday Story Spectacular: 10:30 a.m. April 27

Stitchin' Time Crafters: Bring your projects for creating and socializing Mondays, May 1, 8, 15 and 22 and Wednesday, May 24 starting at 10 a.m.

Free Comic Book Day: Celebration is 10 a.m. to noon May 6. Free comics, activities and crafts. Spider Hero meet and greet and photo ops from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Tech Time: From 10:30 a.m. to noon May 8. Get one-on-one technology help; three half-hour time slots available. Call to sign up.

Fred Johnson Early Selfie Photography Display: On May 8, learn about this Maiden Rock farmer, view his early selfies and take your own selfie with Fred at our selfie station! (in partnership with the Pierce County Historical Association)

Discover Together Tuesday: At 11 a.m. May 9 at Brush Strokes (273 N. Morse St.) We'll be hydro dipping plant pots.

Doodle Club: At 4 p.m. May 9, for ages 9-12.

Morning Book Club: At 10:30 a.m. May 11

Jessica Lee Peterson: Local author visit. Peterson will speak about her new memoir “Thistles and Thorns” and finding light in the darkness of grief.

Therapy Dog Maggie: 4-5 p.m. May 15. Call to sign up for one-on-one time with Maggie. For anyone who would find comfort or happiness in spending time with a dog, no matter their age.

LEGO at the Library: 3:30-5:30 p.m. May 16, with new expanded time!

St. Croix Valley Job Center Employment Assistance: 1-3 p.m. May 18, held each third Tuesday of the month.

Community Book Club: At 6:30 p.m. May 18

Robotics for Kids: At 10 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. May 20. Registration requested, for ages 8 and older.

State Park Program Launch: May 22 with more details to come. Stop by the library or watch the website for more info.

Teen Meet-Up in the Park: At 4 p.m. May 25 in Summit Park. Come have snacks, play lawn games and create some art. Rain location: Library Teen Room

The library will be closed May 29 in observance of Memorial Day.
