The following incidents were reported to Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Sept. 29 through Oct. 6, 2025.
Monday, Sept. 29
At 1:58 p.m., police checked on an illegally parked camper at N729 825th, Hager City. The occupants said it would be gone by night.
At 2:57 p.m., police received a complaint of a vehicle all over the road on Highway 65 in Beldenville. The driver was arrested for possess with intent - methamphetamine (over 50 grams), possession of fentanyl, possess drug paraphernalia and felony bail jumping.
A 4:23 p.m., a man at W7928 180th, Hager City, advised police his neighbor had cut a bush and the limbs fell on his property, which he saw as littering. It was deemed a civil matter.
A license plate theft was reported at 6:12 p.m. at W12566 770th, River Falls.
Suspicious activity was reported at 8:50 p.m. at highways 10 and 63 near Ellsworth.
Deputies responded to an assault at 10:12 p.m. at the Woodshed (N1090 825th, Hager City).
Tuesday, Sept. 30
Police assisted EMS at 12:39 a.m. at W5516 690th, Beldenville. Lifesaving measures were performed, but an individual was pronounced dead.
At 1:46 a.m., police made contact with a woman who was caught trespassing at N7293 County Road F, River Falls. She was told if she went back to the residence, she would be arrested.
Officers responded at 1:57 a.m. to a one-vehicle crash at W8391 Highway 10, Ellsworth. The driver left the scene; police tried to contact him without success.
Police received a welfare check request at 3:41 a.m. on a woman near Highway 29 and County Road F, River Falls. She was involved in an earlier trespassing call; she denied assistance.
Deputies were dispatched to an unwanted person complaint at 6:28 a.m. at N5981 745th, Ellsworth. A woman had arrived to collect property after being released from jail. She was advised to contact a man’s probation agent about contact between them. Police gave the woman a courtesy ride.
At 7:04 a.m., a blue iPad in a black case was located on County Road F near Mitchell Road in St. Croix County. It was held for safekeeping.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a traffic stop at 8:12 a.m. at 424 Industrial Road.
Two people were cited for trespassing in their camper at 8:20 a.m. at N729 825th, Hager City.
Officers assisted Public Health at 8:50 a.m. at N5981 745th, Ellsworth.
At 12:40 p.m., a business owner reported an abandoned boat left at W7858 170th, Hager City. Police tried to contact the owner.
At 12:54 p.m., a man’s probation agent assisted a woman in gathering his belongings and a few pets from N5981 745th, Ellsworth.
Deputies assisted probation agents with an arrest at 1:54 p.m. at 310 W. Main St., Ellsworth.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 1:57 p.m. at 742 W. Dale St.
At 2:11 p.m., officers checked on a man sitting in a suspicious vehicle scrapping metal on the side of the road at Highway 35 and 1208th Street, Prescott. He admitted to having drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and was cited.
At 9:07 p.m., a caller reported a bicyclist on the road without lights at highways 63 and 35, Hager City. No bicyclist was located.
A caller reported a cow in the roadway at 11:03 p.m. on County Road CC, Elmwood. No cow was located.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police at 11:19 p.m. at 305 W. Main St.
Wednesday, Oct. 1
Police conducted a welfare check on a woman at 7:06 a.m. at N5063 County Road DD, Ellsworth. She wanted to speak to a doctor.
At 7:30 a.m., police spoke to a man at W7930 180th, Hager City, about an ongoing civil matter with neighbors.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a vehicle crash at 9:54 a.m. at 223 E. Main St.
Police performed a welfare check at 11:04 a.m. at W1153 Whitetail Run, Spring Valley. The man was told to call his employer.
Officers were informed of a trespassing call at 11:19 a.m. at Highway 63 and 825th Street (south interchange), Hager City. A man said he fell asleep looking at the river and would be leaving soon.
At 4:21 p.m., police were dispatched to a threat complaint at a group home at N8190 975th, River Falls. The parties were advised to separate for the night.
Deputies spoke with a complainant at 4:48 p.m. about an ongoing civil matter at N5981 745th, Ellsworth. She hung up on them in the middle of the call.
An unwanted subject was reported at 5:44 p.m. at W8945 Highway 10, Hager City. They agreed to leave without incident.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a traffic stop at 10:06 p.m. at Main and Grant streets.
Police were dispatched to a vehicle repossession at 11:02 p.m. at N4828 450th, Ellsworth.
Thursday, Oct. 2
Officers were informed of a vehicle stuck in the ditch at 2:31 a.m. at County Road J and 780th Avenue, Beldenville. Melstrom’s Towing tugged it out of the ditch.
Deputies were dispatched to a domestic at 9:38 a.m. at N1963 430th, Maiden Rock. They voluntarily separated before police arrived.
At 9:59 a.m., police were called to W4420 Highway 29, Spring Valley, for a man trespassing on private property. He was interviewed and trespassed from the property.
Officers and a co-responder were dispatched at 1 p.m. to W3542 Highway 35, Maiden Rock, for a welfare check. The woman was fine.
Deputies assisted EMS at 1:46 p.m. at W6390 Highway 35, Bay City.
Hudson police requested deputies to respond at 2:32 p.m. to W6124 230th, Bay City, to investigate a guns issue. The guns in the residence were locked in a safe.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a welfare check at 5:39 p.m. at Maple Street and Overlook Drive. A woman had been released from jail and was waiting for a ride.
At 7:45 p.m., a caller at N5094 530th, Ellsworth, reported a smoky haze in the area. No fires were located.
Police responded to a vehicle vs. guardrail crash at 8:11 p.m. at county roads N and J, Beldenville. A woman said she swerved to miss another vehicle that was about to hit her head-on.
At 8:19 p.m., officers responded to a possible break-in at N1932 County Road K, Hager City. A woman heard the doorknob turning and believed someone was inside. No one was found in the house and there were no signs of forced entry.
Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct at 8:47 p.m. at N8090 620th, Beldenville.
Friday, Oct. 3
Deputies assisted River Falls police in locating a suicidal subject at 2:07 a.m. at a residence on 879th
At 2:24 a.m., police checked the area near 1529 S. Wasson Lane, River Falls, for a man walking in the road. He was not found.
The highway department was notified of a downed stop sign at 7:19 a.m. at County Road C and Highway 35, Bay City.
At 10:13 a.m., a pastor at W7562 Highway 10, Ellsworth, reported a man had made concerning statements; he requested extra patrol during the church service.
Police were notified of a possible theft by a former employee at 11:44 a.m. at N8216 690th, River Falls.
Deputies assisted Spring Valley police at 2:03 p.m. at W318 N. Second St. and at 2:24 p.m. at N617 Foote Ave.
At 2:14 p.m., a vehicle backed into a Prescott police squad car at 1051 Orrin Road.
Deputies assisted police at 5:12 p.m. at N1817 785th, Hager City.
Deputies assisted Wisconsin State Patrol at 5:50 p.m. at Highway 65 and 800th Avenue, River Falls.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth police with a traffic stop at 7:04 p.m. at 159 W. Main St.
Suspicious activity was reported at 9:03 p.m. at County Road W and 870th Avenue, River Falls.
An intoxicated subject was reported at 9:10 p.m. at 515 Main St., Plum City. Police learned a woman had been assaulted by a male, who was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct.
Saturday, Oct. 4
Officers checked on people walking at 1:05 a.m. on Highway 63 at 150th Avenue, Hager City. They declined assistance.
Suspicious activity was reported at 1:23 a.m. at Highway 63 and 825th Street, Hager City.
Police were dispatched to a residential campfire complaint at 1:47 a.m. at 223 N. Spruce St., Elmwood. The resident put it out.
Deputies were dispatched to an assault at 2:34 a.m. at N1620 County Road VV, Hager City. The suspects left before officers arrived.
At 3 a.m., EMS transported a man to the hospital for injuries received in an assault at N673 825th, Hager City.
Suspicious activity was reported at 3:12 a.m. at Highway 63 and 825th Street, Hager City.
At 6:06 a.m., police responded to N1817 785th, Hager City, for an unwanted woman in the parking lot. She was gone when police arrived.
At 6:39 a.m., police checked on a suspicious vehicle parked under the High Bridge in Hager City. It was unoccupied.
Officers responded to a minor two-vehicle crash at 8:44 a.m. at Highway 10 and County Road DD, Ellsworth.
Deputies were dispatched to a hit and run at 10:03 a.m. at W11688 County Road FF, River Falls. A truck ran into the back of a truck pulling a wagon and was unaware.
At 10:12 a.m., police located a man who they have had trouble with parking his RV on private properties at N1090 825th, Hager City. He said he’s trying to get it started so it can be moved.
A lost cat was reported at 10:19 a.m. at N5333 1240th, Prescott.
At 12:44 p.m., police spoke to a landowner near County Road VV and Highway 63, Hager City, about an RV that showed up on his property. He didn’t wish for anything to be done about it.
The township was notified of a tree partially blocking the roadway at 12:52 p.m. at W9921 320th, Hager City.
At 1:43 p.m., a complainant at N8644 940th, River Falls, reported a domestic that occurred the night before. She wanted to go over her options.
Officers assisted EMS with an allergic reaction to a wasp sting at 2:26 p.m. at W7002 810th, River Falls.
Police responded to a property dispute at 7:58 p.m. at N1182 570th, Bay City. The parties were separated after mediation.
Deputies assisted jail staff at 8:18 p.m. at 555 W. Overlook Drive.
At 8:30 p.m., police were informed of a tree leaning on a powerline at N7742 290th, Spring Valley. The township was notified.
A possible bond violation was reported at 11:22 p.m. at N2696 County Road A, Maiden Rock. No bond violation was observed.
At 11:29 p.m., a complainant reported finding a dog at W7518 170th, Hager City.
Sunday, Oct. 5
Police checked on a suspicious vehicle at 1:53 a.m. at Highway 63 and 830th Street, Hager City. No one was around.
Deputies assisted River Falls police with a domestic at 10:28 a.m. at 110 S. Dallas St.
At 10:42 a.m., police assisted a farmer in getting cattle off the road at W4501 Highway 10, Ellsworth.
At 3:59 p.m., a caller reported a man walking who seemed “a little off” at County Road VV and Highway 35, Hager City. He was not located.
Police conducted a welfare check at 5:44 p.m. at W8123 165th, Hager City. He declined assistance.
Officers assisted EMS at 8:55 p.m. at N2368 690th, Bay City.
Monday, Oct. 6
Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check at 3:28 a.m. at N8199 940th, River Falls. A woman was advised to call her employer.
At 7:17 a.m., a caller at N1435 810th, Hager City, reported homeless people wandering in the area and possibly breaking into vehicles.
At 7:43 a.m., police stood by while an employer took back a work vehicle at W1153 Whitetail Run, Spring Valley.
A business alarm sounded at 9:28 a.m. at W8357 190th, Hager City.
