The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for Oct. 8 is Prescott High School junior Grace Ptacek, who was nominated by English teacher Tania Novak.
“Grace has been performing exceptionally well in English to start off the school year,” Novak said. “She is hard working, responsible, and respectful. Her attentiveness and willingness to participate in class shows her eagerness to learn. The effort she is putting in to be a highly successful student is not going unnoticed. Great job, Grace!”
Grace is the daughter of Brianne Ptacek and Raphael Ptacek. This honor roll student is on the school softball and volleyball teams, as well as club volleyball and softball teams.
She enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling for softball and in general, being outside, hiking, watching high school and college sports, and eating new foods.
She plans to play softball and maybe volleyball in college, then wants to open her own softball training facility.
