Senior Gathering Place activities: Week of May 3

PRESCOTT – Spring is budding forth! Forsythia bushes are bursting with yellow blossoms, and tulips, daffodils and crocus are adding to the beauty. The grass is green, trees are budding and apple blossoms are just around the corner. Spring has sprung!
Come join your new and old friends at the Senior Gathering Place. We are open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 12:30-3:30 p.m. at 1220 St. Croix St. in Prescott. Use door 5, please. We have ample parking but if you need a ride call Penny Peterson at 714-262-4676 or email her at ppeters2@prescott.k12.wi.us

Thursday, May 3: How to play Mexican Dominoes or 5 Crowns at 1 p.m.

Tuesday, May 9: Walking Group meets at Gathering Place at 9 a.m. as do the Pickleball Players. At 1 p.m. join your friends for a game of Canasta.

Wednesday, May 10: Euchre, Bridge and other card games go from 12:30-3:30 p.m.

Thursday, May 11: Our speaker at 1 p.m. will be Maureen Otwell, who will tell us about historical gravestone art.
Yes, this summer there will be remodeling going on at the school. We will keep you informed of our amended schedule but we are not totally closing down and we will be back in full form next fall at this same location.
