PRESCOTT – Local restaurant The Kitchen Table will be hosting a visit from America’s Best Restaurants on Friday, Oct. 20.
America’s Best Restaurants, a national media and marketing company focusing on bringing attention to local, independently-owned restaurants, will bring its ABR Roadshow to the restaurant that day. Popular dishes will be highlighted, along with an extensive on-camera interview with chef and owner Aaron Wolfe about the restaurant’s special place in the community. The episode will be aired extensively on social media channels at a later date.
Open for about 12 years, The Kitchen Table’s focus is to be a community gathering place serving stellar food in a pleasant environment. Wolfe, who has worked in the restaurant industry his entire career, felt that a small-town cafe was needed in the area, especially one that served breakfast.
The modern yet cozy atmosphere sports a warm, wood-accented interior with a slight industrial vibe. Popular menu items - what Wolfe calls the “three heavy hitters” – include biscuits and housemade sausage gravy, corned beef hash, and the lobster-asparagus eggs benedict, all or any of which may be featured on the episode.
America’s Best Restaurants will be filming on location from 2-5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20 at 211 Broad St.
