Dunn-St. Croix
Elmwood/Plum City and Spring Valley were in Mondovi for the Dunn-St. Croix Conference Championship on May 22, with the EPC girls leading the way with a second-place finish. The title all came down to the final race, but Boyceville secured the win with a 4x400 time of 4:27 to EPC’s second place time of 4:30.
Sophomore Brewer Link became a conference champion with a six-foot-two high jump, two inches better than the runner-up. After the top two, the next best score was five-foot-eight, so the top two separated themselves from the competition. Link also took second in the long jump.
