Library offers help to local job-seekers Prescott Public Library has partnered with Wisconsin Job Service to provide a series of workshops to assist job seekers in their job search. In a time when most job leads are found via websites and networking, this series of workshops is meant to assist and enhance people’s job search by providing information and/or assistance in using the available tools to attain their job goals. These workshops are for those with little to no computer skills who find they now need to use electronics to search or apply for jobs or to access county or state services via computers.
Three workshops, taught by Job Service staff, will be offered at the Prescott Public Library. The first class, “Learning Basic Computer Skills and/or Enhancing Computer Skills” will be held on Thursday, October 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p. m.
