Members of the Prescott Cardinals baseball team worked to spruce up Pine Glen Cemetery as a community service initiative on Saturday, April 20 after their game against Mondovi. The volunteers picked up downed branches, sticks and garbage. Next weekend the team will host a free youth clinic and plans to do more community service later this month, including hosting a baseball clinic for youth.

Jeff Ryan earned his 400th win as the head coach of the Prescott Cardinals Baseball Club in the win over Lake City. Ryan becomes the 22nd coach in the history of Wisconsin high school baseball to win 400+ games. Ryan took over for Steve Block in 1999 and is in his 26th year. During Ryan’s career, the Cardinals have won 12 conference championships, 10 regional championships, two sectional championships, one state runner-up, and one state championship in 2012.
