The UWRF Collegiate Farm Bureau Chapter annually hosts Ag Day on Campus, which began in 2012. This year’s theme was “Growing for Generations.” The event included numerous informational booths, fun contests and more throughout the day on the campus mall. It concluded with a free evening meal in the Agricultural Science building and a panel discussion in the University Center about the future of agriculture.

Ann and Manley Olson have endowed a scholarship that will provide $1,200 annually to an elementary education major attending UW-River Falls, with a preference that the recipient be a Hudson resident. The scholarship is named for Ann’s mother, Blanche Hansen Nygard, and her aunt, Meta Hansen, UWRF alums who had long, successful careers as educators.
