10:27 a.m.

A driver was stopped in Prescott near the intersection of 521st Ave. and Cty. Tk. E for failure to stop at a stop sign. The operator was warned. 12:45 p.m.

A disabled vehicle was checked on near the top of the Hager Hill on Hwy. 63 in Hager City. The vehicle was removed by tow.

1:09 p.m.

A driving complaint was received on Hwy. 35 in Bay City. The area was checked, and the vehicle was not found.

7:15 p.m.

Deputies were advised of a check welfare request near the intersection of 210th Ave. and Hwy. 63 in Hager City. Deputies were able to determine the male subject left a bar alone but had not been seen or heard from since that time. The subject was found deceased from a motor vehicle accident. January 23 12:22 a.m.

Deputies responded to the 400 block of Main St. in Plum City after receiving a report of a fight in progress. While en route, the complainant requested that they cancel the response. Deputies arrived on scene where the possible suspect and victim had already left the scene.

1:42 a.m.

Deputies responded to 825th St. in Hager City after a report of a fight was received. The bartender stated there was a fight, but both parties left and didn’t appear the were any injuries.

2:20 a.m.

Deputies responded to Cty. Tk. VV in Hager City after receiving several calls from the location. Subjects were located parked in the middle of Hwy. 35. The subjects were found to be fighting about how intoxicated the male caller was. 11:44 a.m.

Deputies responded to 1010th St. in River Falls for a reported two-vehicle crash.

11:53 a.m.

Information about a military funeral in the area of Hwy. 10 in Ellsworth was received and passed on to onduty patrol.

12:32 p.m.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy. 35 in Hager City for a suspicious vehicle leaving the area. Contact was made with parties in the vehicle and they admitted to stealing a sign.

3:15 p.m.

The area of Hwy. 10 near Cty. TK. D in Ellsworth was checked following a reported smell of LP gas. The odor was not noticed upon response.

5:13 p.m.

A driver was stopped and cited for speed in Ellsworth near the intersection of Hwy. 63 and Cty. TK. V.

7:44 p.m.

A van was found to be struggling to get up the hill near the intersection of 1100th St. and Hwy. 35 in Prescott. Emergency lights were provided, and they eventually made it up the incline.

January 24 1:01 a.m.

Deputies responded to River Falls near the intersection of Cty. Tk. F and Cty. Tk. FF for a vehicle that was stuck in the lane of travel due to the snowstorm. An investigation into possible underage misconduct was conducted.

2:14 a.m.

Near the intersection of Cty. Tk. F and Cty. Tk. FF in River Falls, a vehicle was assisted in getting up the hill.

3:41 a.m.

Deputies were dispatched to Hager City near the intersection of Cty. Tk. OO and Hwy. 10. After arriving on scene, the driver stated he lost control on the unplowed roadway and entered the ditch. The driver requested to leave the vehicle until daylight. 5:38 a.m.

Prescott PD was assisted in the 200 block of Broad St. with an OWI arrest.

7:48 a.m.

A vehicle slide-in with no damage was reported in Ellsworth near the intersection of 610th Ave. and 650th St.

5:05 p.m.

A vehicle was towed from Spring Valley near the intersection of Hwy. 63 in 760th Ave. after being reported as disabled. 6:07 p.m.

A report of a catalytic converter removed from a work van was received from 945th St. in Hager City. Photographs and a statement were taken.

6:34 p.m.

A suspicious male was reported to have been seen walking into the complainant’s garage in the 500 block of N. Maple St. in Ellsworth. The male or the vehicle he had been driving were not found after assisting Ellsworth PD.

6:56 p.m.

Snowmobile operators were stopped for stop sign violations in Beldenville near the intersection of Cty. Tk. N and Hwy. 63.

9:07 p.m.

Two snowmobile operators were warned after being stopped in the 500 block of W. Overlook Dr. in Ellsworth for failing to stop at stop signs.

10:30 p.m.

A vehicle was stopped in Prescott near the intersection of Canton St. and Hwy. 10 for using off-road lights on the highway.

10:43 p.m.

A subject reported they had been bit by their dog on 367th St. in Maiden Rock.

January 25 7:57 a.m.

A citation for speed was issued near the intersection of Cty. Tk. FF and Hwy. 29 in River Falls.

8:31 a.m.

A driver was issued citations for speed and Possession of Marijuana after the vehicle was observed speeding near the intersection of 301st Ave. and Hwy. 35 in Hager City.

4:12 p.m.

Deputies were dispatched to Elmwood near the intersection of 630th Ave. and Hwy. 72 for a one-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.

9:02 p.m.

Deputies responded to an address on 650th St. in River Falls for an unwanted subject. The subject left prior to arrival.

January 26 8:42 a.m.

Snowmobiles were reported off the trail on the complainant’s property near 220th St. in Spring Valley. Video was received and forwarded to Recreational Patrol. 11 subjects that rode sleds to school were spoken to. Five of them rode off the trail and two without trail passes were issued citations.

6:01 p.m.

Police assisted in Ellsworth in the 100 block of W. Main St. for a driving complaint. The suspect was later located at a bar in the county. The vehicle was left at the location and the driver was given a courtesy ride to a motel for the evening. 7:22 p.m.

Deputies responded to Hwy. 29 in Spring Valley for a male subject driving recklessly in a parking lot. The vehicle was located and stopped. The driver was issued citations for Unnecessary and Annoying Noise and Operating w/o a License – 2nd Offense. A statement was taken. 8:55 p.m.

A vehicle was stopped for suspicious activity in Spring Valley near the intersection of Hwy. 29 and Hwy. 63 N. The driver and passenger called for a valid driver and were given warnings.

9:53 p.m.

Deputies responded to an address on 230th Ave. in Hager City for a structure fire.

January 27 11:51 a.m.

A vehicle was located in the ditch near the intersection of Cty. Tk. E and Hwy. 10 in Prescott. The driver stated he lost control after someone pulled out in front of him. The vehicle was removed with no damage observed. The driver was warned for bald tires.

1:12 p.m.

A vehicle was stopped on Hwy. 35 in Prescott for the Registered Owner showing no valid Driver’s License and expired registration. The passenger received charges for Drug Paraphernalia and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and also cited for Possession of THC.

9:00 p.m.

The driver of a running vehicle was contacted in the 400 block of Park Rd. in Plum City. The driver was on a date and couldn’t find a better location to park to read the bible.

9:30 p.m.

A stop was attempted near the intersection of 690th Ave. and Cty. Tk. CC in Spring Valley for operating left of center. The driver fled on foot before being arrested for Operating While Intoxicated – 3rd Offense, Operating After Revocation, Ignition Interlock Device Tampering, Resisting Arrest, Open Intoxicant and Operating Left of Center.

January 28 12:11 a.m.

A driver was stopped near the intersection of Hwy. 63 and 825th St. S. in Hager City. After admitting to drinking, the driver was run through a field sobriety test. A citation was issued for Failure to Stop at the Stop Sign and the driver was picked up by a sober party.

2:11 p.m.

Deputies were dispatched to 148th Ave. in Bay City for a snowmobile accident with injury. The subject was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

5:17 p.m.

A suspicious grey Dodge minivan was reported near the intersection of 360th Ave. and Cty. K in Hager City. The complainant thought the individual may have been hunting from the vehicle. The vehicle was not located.

January 29 5:43 a.m.

A semi trying to do a u-turn on Hwy. 10 in Prescott got stuck in the snow. Tow trucks were called to remove the semi.

January 30 10:58 p.m.

Deputies responded to an address on 690th Ave. in River Falls for a report of underage alcohol consumption at a party. Contact was made with three individuals under 21 who had been drinking. Two were cited for Underage Consumption and one was cited for Possession of Marijuana.

January 31 3:31 a.m.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy. 35 in Prescott for a one-vehicle rollover accident. The driver was spoken to and information was collected.

10:12 p.m.

Deputies responded to the 100 block of S. Scott St. in Elmwood for a report of shots fired. After speaking with multiple subjects, the noise was believed to be fireworks. The area was checked but nothing was located.
