RIVER FALLS - The School District of River Falls has received a $14,000 donation from the Donaldson Foundation to support the River Falls High School welding program. 

The grant will support the RFHS welding program, providing River Falls High School students with hands-on learning opportunities that help prepare them for careers in welding and related fields. 

“The grant will allow us to upgrade our welding tables and purchase a new tungsten diamond grinding machine for TIG welding,” said RFHS welding teacher Matt Kapitz. “These upgrades are needed to replace aging equipment and improve student safety. Donaldson Company, Inc. has been a great partner to our program, donating all of our welding metal and welcoming our students for multiple field trips each year. We’re grateful for their continued support.”

Founded in 1966, the Donaldson Foundation is the main charitable giving arm of Donaldson Company, Inc.  Led by a volunteer employee board, the Foundation positively impacts communities by supporting and investing in education.
