Prescott girls golf wins back-to-back state titles: There is something to be said about sports in Pierce County when the number three moment on the 2021 list is a team winning its second consecutive state championship. The Prescott Cardinals girls golf team comes in at number three with its dominant performance in the 2021 WIAA Division 2 state tournament. On Tuesday, Oct. 12, Prescott secured another state title in a victory that was so dominant, blowout doesn’t begin to describe the gap between first and second. The Cardinals won the Division 2 title by an astounding 49-shot margin over second-placed Saint Croix Central. Prescott’s powerhouse program has a great chance at going for a 90s Jordanesque three-peat of titles.
