At 11:46 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries on State Road 29 near Couty Road I in the town of Gilman.
A 2015 Kia Forte, driven by Reed Kaliher, 30, Chanhassen, Minn., was traveling southbound on County Road I when he collided with a 2022 Ford Escape, driven by Terrance Traynor, 74, River Falls, who was traveling westbound on Highway 29.
Spring Valley EMS transported Kaliher to Western Wisconsin Health in Baldwin with undisclosed injuries. EMS also transported Kaliher’s passenger, Joanne Bethke, 80, Chanhassen, Minn., to Western Wisconsin Health with undisclosed injuries. Baldwin EMS transported Traynor to River Falls Area Hospital with undisclosed injuries, along with his passenger, Linda Traynor, 73, River Falls. United Fire and Spring Valley Fire also assisted at the scene.
