City of Prescott Alderperson At-Large Bailey Ruona Why are you seeking this post?

Seven years ago, I made the decision to move to Prescott from the Twin Cities in order to be closer to my parents who moved to this river town in 2004. Growing up our family was on the boat nearly every weekend on the Saint Croix River and one of our frequent visited locations was Prescott. Some of my fondest memories from our visits was docking at the Steamboat Inn on Mother's Day for brunch, stopping in at Hammers for their pulled pork, and anchoring out in the bay for weekend. I may have been born and raised in the Twin Cities, but my heart and the feeling of home is in Prescott. I love this community and have had the pleasure and honor to serve the last 3 years as your Alderman At-Large and Chair of Parks and Public Property Committee. The Parks and Public Property Committee has made great headway on the River Front Project, but there is much more work to be done in this area. I would love to continue serving as your Alderman At-Large and help bring resident’s expectations of the river front and community to fruition. I appreciate the overwhelming support these past 3 years and ask for your continued support on April 6th.

Prescott City Council Wards 5 & 6 Pat Knox Why are you seeking this post?

I was told no one was running for our open ward position. After talking to my wife we decided it would be a good idea to run for the vacancy. The opening is an opportunity to serve the community._ What sets you apart from your opponent?

Unfortunately, I don’t think I am outstanding in any way. Sort of the opposite. I am not looking to enact anything specific. I think I am pretty average. I don’t have any agenda. Just a wish to represent the people in my area. Would try to be a voice for them._ Final Appeal: I plan to offer my time and effort to the community. If people have concerns they can bring them to the Council.
