Police responded to a vehicle vs. tree crash at 7:11 p.m. Nov. 23 on County Road VV just north of Highway 35 in the town of Trenton. A 2003 Ford Excursion, driven by Adam Lee Stewart, 33, Hager City, was driving southbound on County Road VV downhill around a left0hand curve. It entered the right/west ditch and struck a tree. Stewart told law enforcement that his vehicle lost power and he was unable to steer. He wore a seat belt and reported suspected minor injuries, but declined EMS. The vehicle had to be towed due to disabling damage.

Officers responded to a onevehicle crash at 9:26 p.m. Nov. 24 on County Road OO 1,235 feet north of 500th Avenue in the town of Trimbelle. A 2007 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Robert Allan Rowe, 24, Ellsworth, was traveling southbound on County Road OO, crossed the center line and entered the northbound ditch, where it struck a pole. Rowe wore a seat belt and reported no injuries. The vehicle had functional damage and was towed. Rowe was cited for OWI, operating with PAC and failure to keep vehicle under control.

Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at 12:55 p.m. Nov. 26 on Highway 65 just north of 690th Avenue in the town of River Falls between a 1997 Ford F150, driven by Dalton Scott Boesel, 27, River Falls, and a 2019 Ford Edge, operated by Kelly Jo Ilavsky, 63, Hudson. Boesel was going south on Highway 65 and was making a right turn (west) onto 690th Avenue. Ilavsky was also heading south, behind Boesel. As Boesel slowed to make the turn, Ilavsky attempted to go around him but struck the driver’s door of his truck in a sideswipe. Both drivers wore seat belts and reported no injuries. Boesel’s truck had functional damage, while Ilavsky’s vehicle was towed due to disabling damage. Officers responded to a onevehicle rollover at 6:49 a.m. Nov. 27 on Highway 35 just east of 1180th Street in the town of Oak Grove. A 2002 Saturn Ion, driven by Jeffrey Gene Anderson, 62, Prescott, was heading northbound on Highway 35 when it veered off the roadway, entered the north ditch, rolled over and crushed the passenger side roof area, which caused damage to all areas of the vehicle. Anderson, who wore a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Regina Hospital in Hastings, Minn. with suspected minor injuries. However, no one was on the scene when police arrived and the vehicle was cold to the touch. It was towed due to disabling damage. Anderson was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control and failure of operator to notify police of accident.

Deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash at 8:19 a.m. on County Road J just west of 645th Avenue in the town of Ellsworth. A 2010 Chevrolet HHR, driven by Jasper Paul Knutson, 17, Beldenville, was traveling southbound on County Road J on slushy roads when it lost control and struck a guardrail face. Knutson wore a seat belt and reported no injuries. The vehicle was drivable with functional damage.
