Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at 10:22 a.m. Sept. 8 at on Highway 10 at 860th Street in the town of Trimbelle between a 2019 Chevrolet Express, driven by James Robert Bigott, 29, Elmwood, and a 2005 Chevrolet Impala, driven by John Patrick Biederman, 54, Arkansaw. Bigott was westbound on Highway 10 behind Biederman, who slowed down to allow a vehicle in front of him o turn left onto 860th Street. Bigott rear-ended Biederman’s vehicle. Both drivers wore seat belts; Bigott reported no injuries while Biederman reported possible injuries. He was not transported to a hospital. Both vehicles were towed due to disabling damage.

Deputies were called to a one-vehicle crash at 5:50 p.m. Sept. 8 on 840thAvenue just west of 1155th Street in the town of Clifton. A 2002 Saturn SL1, driven by Noah Patrick Goff, 17, River Falls, was traveling westbound on 840thAvenue when Goff drove into the westbound ditch and struck a tree. Goff was able to remove the vehicle, but it was towed due to disabling damage. He wore a seat belt and reported no injuries. He was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control.

Officers responded to a one-vehicle crash at 8:18 a.m. Sept. 9 on Highway 29 at 1090th Street in the town of Clifton. A 2013 Ford Focus, driven by Bradley Joseph Hetchler, 29, River Falls, was attempting a U-turn in the intersection. When he went to back up, he went into the ditch. He tried to get out, but was unable to. Marks at the scene indicated the vehicle went into the ditch sideways and the vehicle went back and forth deeper into the ditch. Hetchler admitted to having some beers earlier in the night and said he was sober cabbing friends home after bar close. The homeowner called in the vehicle about five hours after the crash occurred. Hetchler wore a seat belt and reported no injuries. The Ford was towed due to disabling damage. Hetchler was cited for keep open intoxicants in motor vehicle – driver and failure of operator to notify police of accident.

Police were on the scene of a one-vehicle crash at 9:21 p.m. Sept. 16 on Highway 63 one-half mile south of 220th Avenue in the town of Trenton. A 2005 Toyota Scion, driven by Luis Rodolfo Barillas Morales, 21, Red Wing, Minn., was traveling southbound on Highway 63 north of 210thAvenue. He lost control while being pursued by law enforcement, crossed the center line and struck the east guardrail face. He came to rest facing southeast in the northbound lane of traffic. Barillas Morales wore a seat belt and reported no injuries. The Toyota was towed due to disabling damage. He was cited for vehicle operator flee/elude officer, speeding, failure to keep vehicle under control and operate without valid license. Alcohol use was suspected.
