RIVER FALLS — River Falls resident Alison Page announced her candidacy May 7 for the new 30th Assembly District which includes the cities of River Falls and Hudson, the Village of North Hudson, and the towns of St. Joseph, Hudson, Kinnickinnic, Troy, Clifton and River Falls.
“For too long, legislators in the State Assembly have ignored the needs of our families,” said Page. “They are taking away a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions, ignoring rural health care, and leaving behind Wisconsin families. I have spent my life advocating for my community, and I will continue that work in the Assembly. I will always fight for our freedoms, better healthcare, and lowering costs. I love our state, and I love the people of Western Wisconsin. I will work hard for you so, together, we can ensure a bright future for our children and grandchildren.”
Page was born and raised in western Wisconsin and spent her career in health care, first as a nurse and then as an administrator, most recently as CEO of Western Wisconsin Health. She’s made a career of strengthening rural health care and bringing people together to get things done. She is married to David Page, a retired dentist in River Falls. She and David have five adult children and seven grandchildren. She also serves on the River Falls School Board.
