RIVER FALLS – All men are invited to the Knights for Dads Rally, a half-day event focused on helping men – and especially fathers – become all that God intended. The event will be held 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at St. Bridget Catholic Church in River Falls.
Now in its third year, the 2025 event is expected to draw numbers comparable to the 2024 rally, which attracted 225 men from 41 communities. Diocese of Superior Bishop James P. Powers also will attend this year’s rally.
Why is it called a rally? Doug Weiss, the event chair, explained that organizers want men to do more than listen.
“We want men to come together in solidarity and faith to celebrate, participate and draw strength from each other,” Weiss said.
This year’s rally theme – “Man Fully Alive” – focuses on how men can grow in their faith through prayer, knowing Jesus, and the support of their brothers in faith.
The program features presentations, music, small group discussions and prayer. It includes morning refreshments and lunch.

The rally is sponsored by Knights of Columbus councils at St. Patrick Church Hudson, St. Mary’s Church Big River, St. Mary’s Church Hammond, and St. Bridget Church River Falls, with support from other councils.
