PRESCOTT – April showers bring May flowers, but what does April snow bring other than frustration?
Come to the Prescott Senior Gathering Place where it is warm and dry. Meet up with other seniors to share activities and make new friends!
Thursday, April 20: Movie and popcorn day. At 1 p.m. watch “Meet the Parents,” a comedy. We have a new bigger TV for your enjoyment!
Friday, April 21: Memory Cafe at First National Bank Community Room from 10-11:30 a.m.
Tuesday, April 25: Pickleball in school gym (1220 St. Croix St.) at 9 a.m. Book Club meets to discuss “Contraband” by Stuart Wood at 1 p.m.
Wednesday, April 26: Card games will take place from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Join your friends for Euchre, Bridge or game of your choice.
Thursday, April 27: Speaker Jessica Lee Peterson (author of “Thistles & Thorns”) will speak at 1 p.m. Jessica’s three daughters were killed by their father in River Falls; this is her story of dealing with that grief.
Senior Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St., Prescott. We are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-3:30 p.m. for all seniors 50 and older. If you need transportation, call Penny Peterson at 715-262-4676 or email her at ppeterson@prescott.k12.wi.us
