The Prescott Police Department was assisted as requested in the 100 block of Broad St.
6:16 a.m.
Several kids riding bikes up the Hager Hill were checked on. Everyone appeared fine and did not request any assistance.
9:14 a.m.
A complainant called with concern that there has been a golden colored vehicle parking on the premises of a business in the 300 block of Cherry Ave. The complainant was advised to call back when the vehicle is observed on the property.
9:51 a.m.
A suspicious person was reported on 610th Ave. in Elmwood.
10:17 a.m.
A vehicle was stopped on Hwy. 35 in Bay City for showing the registered owner as revoked. The driver was cited for OWL. 11:28 a.m.
A suspicious person was reported on 170th St. in Elmwood.
1:25 p.m.
A suspicious vehicle was reported near the intersection of 680th Ave. and Cty. Tk. F in Prescott. The vehicle was gone prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
11 controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
August 18 1:46 a.m.
A driver was stopped and cited for speeding near the intersection of Cty. Tk QQ and Hwy. 29 in Prescott.
10:17 a.m.
A Deputy responded to an address on Cty. Tk. V in Ellsworth for a male found deceased in his vehicle. See full report.
12:13 p.m.
A Deputy responded to 355th Ave. in Plum City for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon making contact, everything appeared to be fine. The man had been fishing.
5:06 p.m.
A Deputy responded to an address on 790th St. in Hager City after the complainant’s neighbor was seen urinating outside in view of adults and children. The subject was interviewed. The complainant wished for a warning.
5:57 p.m.
Deputies assisted Ellsworth Police Department directing traffic while Excel Energy fixed a downed power line in the 200 block of N. Maple St.
16 controlled burns were reported to dispatch. The callers were advised to obtain any required permits and to call back when complete.
August 19 5:51 a.m.
Vandalism was reported at an address on Foote Ave. in Spring Valley.
8:28 a.m.
A complainant reported that someone egged a handicap sign on Iron St. in Spring Valley.
10:45 a.m.
A Deputy responded to the 300 block of Main St. in Plum City for a possible burglary. The complainant stated he was gone for the previous two days and when he came home, his house was trashed, and a couple of things were missing. Information and evidence were collected.
2:27 p.m.
A complainant called to report seeing a low-flying military helicopter near 690th in Beldenville. Everything was fine, it was a training exercise.
9:39 p.m.
A Deputy was dispatched to Mckay Ave. in Spring Valley for a report of suspicious activity.
11:02 p.m.
A driver was stopped and cited for speeding on 1170th St. near Hwy. 29 in Prescott.
11:05 p.m.
A Deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Main St. in Elmwood for suspicious activity.
August 20 12:12 a.m.
Deputies were dispatched near the intersection of Cty. Tk. F and Cty. Tk FF in River Falls to check on a female sitting in a chair in the middle of the roadway. The area was checked, and State Patrol assisted in searching. No subjects or parked vehicles were located in the area.
1:21 a.m.
A Deputy responded to an address on Cty. Tk. J in Beldenville for subjects that threw toilet paper in trees on the property. Nobody was located. The homeowner did not
