PLUM CITY – American Legion Post 365 and the auxiliary at Plum City sponsored representatives at Badger Boys and Badger Girls State conferences in June. The representative for Badger Boy was Payton Kopp and for Badger Girl was Grace Hinrichs, both students at Plum City High School.
Badger girl was held on the campus at UW-Oshkosh. Bad- ger boy for the first time was held at UW-Eau Claire. Previously Badger boy was held a Ripon.
Kopp and Hinrichs attended the August meeting at the Plum City Legion Hall to report on their experiences. Both learned a lot about local, county and state government as well as learning parliamentary procedure. They were able to meet a lot of people from all around the state. They had a lot of fun and made new friends.
Thank you to Kopp and Hinrichs for representing our community.
