At 11:18 a.m. Friday, May 30, deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash with injury on State Road 35 near County Road EE in the Village of Bay City. A 2025 Mercedes Benz, driven by Angelica Oakins, 19, Bay City, was traveling southbound on State Road 35 when she lost control and entered the ditch. Red Wing Ambulance transported Oakins to Mayo-Red Wing Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Red Wing Fire also assisted at the scene. The vehicle had to be towed out of Isabelle Creek.
Officers responded at 12:25 a.m. Sunday, June 1 to a single-vehicle crash with injury on 570th Avenue near County Road QQ in the town of Oak Grove. A 2006 Ford F150, driven by Dominic Weise, 16, Prescott, was traveling eastbound on 570th Avenue when he lost control and entered the ditch. Allina EMS transported him to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with undisclosed injuries. Prescott Police and Fire also assisted at the scene.
