ELLSWORTH – The 43rd annual Beldenville Old Car Club Show was well-attended and featured cars from the early 1900’s through the sporty makes and models. More than 700 cars, trucks and special interest vehicles filled the grounds, along with 84 swappers selling everything from nuts and bolts to a 1930 Model A two-door that had been in storage for 53 years. Thirty-two of them were in Ellsworth in what used to be the Oltman House – home of the past Ford dealer Ralph Oltman and John Oltman – the home they grew up in. If you didn’t attend, you missed the best show in Ellsworth at the fairgrounds for only $5. Plan to attend next year, July 24, 2022 for the 44th annual show!
The 43rd Annual show was off to an early 7 a.m. start, with swappers, cars and trucks coming through the gates. At 8 a.m., the spectator gates were flowing with people from all over. The day started out with a delicious pancake and sausage breakfast by Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, followed by delicious pork sandwiches served by the Rush River – Eau Galle Sportsman’s Club.
Also, Al’s Kettle Corn was popped and bagged for sale by Al Langbein and his wife, Caroline, with Bob and Jean Lucente helping serve. This is the best kettle corn around!
The -H stand was busy selling their items, including ice cream and treats. We as club members thank all of them for their hard work. The show couldn’t happen without them!
We had music in the air from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. by our DJ from Baldwin.
Cars, trucks, street rods, custom two -seaters, convertibles and special interest vehicles all attended from over a 200-mile radius! We estimated we had over $15 million worth of antiques and collector’s vehicles at this show!
We as a small group of common, hard-working members are proud to put on a show of this nature in our small town of Ellsworth, on the best fairgrounds in Wisconsin. We welcome everyone to attend this show next year and we owe a big thanks to our Fair Board, to Ann Webb and Matt Kelly, who do the very best to help us, an old car club, to entertain thousands of people for this well-attended car show!
All the members of the Beldenville Old Car Club thank you!
