Northwest Wisconsin’s largest one-day car show is back again for another year. The Beldenville Old Car Show and Swap Meet is entering its 47th annual event from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. July 27 at the Pierce County Fairgrounds.
“It’s a huge car show,” John Losgaard said. “We have about 600 cars or more, 16 judged classes, usually about 100 swappers.”
The show features food and cars on the fairgrounds, but another major reason for its popularity is the stories. Thousands of people enter the grounds every year to hear about how people got their cars, reasons they started attending car shows and tales of modifications and maintenance to the cars.
Because of the size of the event, the show often sees cars from all over Wisconsin and Minnesota, and even beyond at times.
There will be music played by Rock Man, breakfast and lunch and vehicles dating all the way back to the early 1900s.
Admission is $5, and children 12 and under get in free if accompanied by an adult.
