Anne Marie Sjoquist sits in her farm kitchen in blue jeans and cowgirl boots. The mother of two fits well in the saddle of parent and business woman. A graduate of UW-River Falls Equestrian Science program, she shares her love of horses. Her equestrian business has quietly grown on a 15 acre farm in Beldenville, where she boards and trains horses and those who ride them.
“It is a safe and healthy place to learn independence,” said Thia Rewolinski, whose daughter takes lessons.
