Bells of the Bluffs Handbell Ensemble bring “Rockin’ Our Way Through Winter” to music lovers in two mid-February concerts in Red Wing, Minn., and Prescott.
Combining unexpected and familiar popular songs, the handbell performers and musical guests will chase away the chills with toe-tapping melodies and amazing sounds.
“We’re thrilled to bring our ‘pops’ concert to friends old and new throughout the region,” said Bells of the Bluffs Musical Director Marilee Anderson. “If you have never heard handbells or you’ve only heard them in church, you will be amazed at the range of sounds and exciting music possible with handbells. We invite everyone to experience our music and learn why we are so passionate about handbells.”
Two concerts are planned:
Bells of the Bluffs has been entertaining audiences across Minnesota and Wisconsin for more than a decade. Combining five octaves of handbells, seven octaves of chimes and a one-of-a-kind tubulum, the 14 members of Bells of the Bluffs share their passion for handbells through interactive, family-friendly concerts.
Bells of the Bluffs is an auditioned regional handbell ensemble including ringers from communities across central and southeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Learn more about the group and other concerts planned for the season at bellsofthebluffs.org
