1959-2020
Betty Jean Davidson, 60, died peacefully at home in Shoreview, MN on September 20, 2020. She was born on November 21, 1959, in Plum City, WI to Orin and Enid Davidson, and graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1978. For 35 years until her retirement she made a difference at the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota as an administrative assistant. Inrecognition of her wonderful services and friendliness, she was the recipient of the Red Oil Can award in 2019.
Betty was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2018 and chose to not seek any treatment. She lived her last two years at peace and with joy, and because of her strong Christian faith was fearless in facing death. In both her death and life, she resonated warmth and love for others, trust in God, and joy in life’s moments, whether big or small. She was skilled at nature photography and enjoyed reading, especially poetry and literature.
She is survived by her twin sister Bonnie Davidson, also of Shoreview, MN, and her older Davidson siblings: Paul (Julie), Jim (Ginny), and Dan (Cathy Miron). Herfamilyises- pecially grateful to her rst
