FD hosts chicken dinner, baseball drop planned
It’s a big day Saturday at the Prescott Fire Department, as it will hold a Drive Through Chicken Dinner.
Dinners will be served from 11 a.m. until gone.
The Prescott Fire Hall is located at 260 Flora St.
All funds collected will go to purchase of new firefighter gear and equipment. Kids in vehicles will get spe- cial “goodies.” There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a gun raffle.
The half chicken meal is $10, including beans coleslaw and bun, and the “Little Heroes Meal” for kids is just $5, including a hot dog, macaroni and cheese and chips.
And stick around for the afternoon excitement at Firehall Field! The Crazy About Baseball Fundraiser – Helicopter Baseball Drop will be held at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $100 per ball and only 100 balls are dropped onto the field from the helicopter. If yours hits the mark, you’re the winner! Grand prize is $2,000.
The event raises funds for renovation of the baseball field.
