1965-2020

Bonnie Lou Kinneman, age 55, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the University of Minnesota’s Eastbank Medical Center on October 4, 2020 after a courageous two-month battle.

She was born the daughter of Otto and Kathleen (White) Dyg on July 15, 1965 in New Richmond, Wisconsin. Growing up she enjoyed raising foxes with her family and still commented on how much she loved their distinct smell. She graduated from New Richmond High School in 1983 and married her love, Robin, in South Dakota on September 21, 1984. They were blessed with three beautiful boys. Bonnie enjoyed writing. She was constantly writing things down on bits of scratch paper here and there. She hoped to one day have a book of her own be published. She enjoyed travelling the United States with her husband and loved to write ŅFlat Stanleyņ stories about her journeys for her nieces and nephews. But, above all else, she loved spending time with her family, which meant everything to her, especially her three grandbabies. She had an infectious smile, a warm and inviting personality, and was always willing to lend an ear to anyone in need. It did not matter where she travelled, she always found someone she knew and could stay and chat with them for hours. Bonnie had a deep love for life and tried to never waste a single moment.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and her nephew, Weston Brook.

She is survived by her husband, Robin; children, Brian (Kristi), Andrew (Kayla), Daniel (Breana); grandbabies, Rowen, Hayden, Clarke; siblings, Annette (Chad) Canopy, Christine (Wes) Brook, Susan (Allan) Dyg, Dawn (George) Ferguson, Otto (Vickie) Dyg; and countless nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Bonnie at her childhood home in New Richmond, WI
