RIVER FALLS – River Falls Mutual Insurance Company and the Dusek Agency would like to welcome Brent Olson back to River Falls. He started his new role as assistant general manager at RFMIC in mid-November. Olson has 28 years of insurance experience, working for both insurance companies and agencies.

Olson was born and raised in River Falls. He graduated from UW-River Falls with degrees in business administration and business communications. After spending the last 30 years living in Woodbury, Minn., he returned to River Falls in July 2021.

“I just needed a change of scenery and decided moving back to my hometown was a good step for me at this point in my life,” Olson said.

When this career opportunity opened up, he put his name in the hat.

“It was easy to jump at this opportunity because it combined my years of unique insurance experience at both insurance companies and agencies,” Olson said.

The best immediate change so far?

“My five-minute drive to work!” Olson joke.
