Veterans Day Breakfast, 9-11:30 a.m., Fletcher-Pechacek Post 121 (701 N. Main St., River Falls). Join fellow veterans for a heartfelt morning of warm breakfast, shared stories, and cherished reunions. Serving scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, bacon, sausage, pancakes, SOS and beverages. The public is welcome.
Veteran’s Day Breakfast, 9 a.m., Half Fast Brewing Company (S105 McKay Ave., Spring Valley). Join us for a homemade breakfast. Veterans eat for free- free will donation for the public. Coffee (and creamers!) donated by Spring Valley's own Wake and Bake Food Truck. Come help us honor all those who have served past and present. Free drink for veterans throughout the day.
Prescott Veterans Day Assembly, 8:15 a.m., Prescott High School gym (1010 Dexter St., Prescott). All veterans are invited for pastries, fruit and coffee in the commons prior to the program, which begins at 9 a.m. The featured speaker will be Terry Budworth. River Falls American Legion School Programs, River Falls schools. The American Legion Post 121 Honor Guard will visit River Falls High School at 8:30 a.m., Rocky Branch at 9 a.m., Westside at 9:30 a.m., Montessori Elementary at 10 a.m., St. Bridget’s at 10:30 a.m., Greenwood at 1:15 p.m. and Meyer Middle School at 1:30 p.m. They will also make stops at Tattersall (1777 Paulson Road) for a flag raising ceremony at 11:30 a.m., Our House (902 Wasson Lane) at 1 p.m. and The Sycamore (745 Sycamore St.) at 3:30 p.m.
19th Annual Veterans Day Road March, 9 a.m. In honor of Veterans Day and in support of our veterans, join in walking along the Veterans Memorial Highway 29, beginning at the Spring Valley Community Center (S242 McKay Ave.) and ending at Red Barn Country Store (W) Feel free to walk at your own pace, meet the group somewhere along the way or you’re your support along the route. 14 KIA/MIA soldiers from Elmwood whose names are inscribed on the “For Those Who Gave
All” Memorial at Veterans Memorial Park. Guest speaker is Julie Huebel, Board Secretary for
the Pierce County Historical Association.
St. Joseph Parish School Veterans Day Program, 9:45 a.m., St. Joseph Parish School gym (281 Dakota St. S., Prescott). Students will present a patriotic program in words, pictures and song. Veterans will be asked to introduce themselves, tell if they are related to a student, and in which branch of the military they served.
Plum City Veterans Day Program, 10:30 a.m., Plum City High School gym (907 Main St., Plum City). Join us as we pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country. This special ceremony will feature student performances, a presentation of colors, and a special address. All veterans and active duty military personnel are especially welcome and encouraged to attend.

Free Veterans Day Buffet at West Wind Supper Club
The Veterans Day Buffet at West Wind Supper Club is a tradition of gratitude for our military service members. In appreciation for serving our great country, all veterans will receive a complimentary buffet meal, (lunch 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner 4-8 p.m.) The buffet will feature homemade meatloaf with portabella demi, baked bone-in chicken, dumplings & gravy, mashed potatoes, steamed house veggies, Italian pasta salad, coleslaw, dinner rolls & butter… Plus, our popular Soup & Salad Bar. From all of us at West Wind Supper Club–thank you for your service!
Veterans Day Happy Hour, 3:30-5 p.m., The Sycamore of River Falls (745 Sycamore St., River Falls). Join us this Veterans Day as we come together for a special Happy Hour honoring those who have served our country. Enjoy drinks, snacks, and good company as we raise a glass to our heroes. Auxiliary Bingo Thursday, 7 p.m., Spring Valley Community Center (S242 McKay Ave., Spring Valley). Doors open at 6 p.m. for Post 227 Auxiliary Bingo night. We start playing at 7 p.m. Bingo cards are $10 This is a BYOB event. These monthly bingo events help to keep your local American Legion Auxiliary going. Come and be a part of it.
Honoring Our Heroes Celebration, 10 a.m., Preferred Senior Living (429 W. Wayne St., Ellsworth). Hosted in partnership with Adoray Home Health & Hospice, a proud Level 4 We Honor Veterans Certified agency, this heartfelt ceremony is a tribute to the men and women who have served our country.
The program will include:
- Patriotic music, prayers, and messages of gratitude
- A pinning ceremony for all veterans and their caregivers
- Recognition of veteran staff members
- Time for Adoray’s We Honor Veterans Volunteers to share meaningful conversations with veterans
This special event is a chance for our community to come together in gratitude and fellowship to thank those who selflessly served. All are welcome to join us in honoring these remarkable individuals.
