NEW RICHMOND – Generous donors continue to provide important financial assistance to Northwood Technical College students through the Northwood Technical College Foundation. Each semester, the Northwood Tech Foundation has an application period for students to apply for any scholarships to help offset the costs associated with attending college. For the upcoming spring 2023 semester, the Northwood Tech Foundation awarded 134 scholarships for a total of $57,838 to aid students with paying for school.

The impact of aid in the form of scholarships is evident for students and families working to find any way to assist with lowering the cost of attending school. Scholarships help students with education-related costs such as tuition, fees, books, classroom supplies and more. For Northwood Tech students, these scholarships and other forms of aid provide support while they achieve their goal and begin their career path with little to no student debt. Some of these students are fresh out of high school, while others are returning to school for a variety of reasons including years of working in a different career field or being a stay-at-home parent. No matter what level or age these individuals are enrolling at Northwood Tech, any assistance they receive makes the journey to achieving their degree less difficult and allows them to focus on Northwood Tech’s overall objective of Learning First.
