The defending WIAA Division 2 champion Prescott Cardinal girls golf team is picking up where they left off. The Cardinals hit the road to compete in two early season events. Prescott competed in the Reedsburg Scramble Saturday with Liz Kohl and Ava Salay claiming first place with a score of 67. Rhi Stutz and Maddie Rundquist took seventh with a score of 75, and Finley Magee and Maddie Reiter were ninth with a 76. On Monday, Prescott tied for the championship at the Tomah Tune-up, shattering the school record by nine strokes with a score of 330. Salay was medalist at the event, shooting even par 72.
