PRESCOTT – Ron Murphy of Cernohous Chevrolet and Coulee River Trails volunteers recently removed 600 tires from Pine Coulee Nature Preserve, a 73-acre natural area located adjacent to Pine Glen Cemetery in Prescott.
Cernohous Chevrolet generously paid the $2,000 recycling fee. Landmark Conservancy is grateful for these partnerships which are essential to helping provide a positive experience for visitors to the preserve and restoring the land’s natural character.
Landmark Conservancy purchased the Pine Coulee property in 2025 with public and private grants and broad support from community members. An accredited, regional land trust, the nonprofit has conserved more than 45,000 acres for public benefit across northwest Wisconsin.
