Brush Strokes Paint Party & Art Supply

The 2nd Annual Chalk Fest was held on Saturday, August 8th on Broadway Street in East End Ellsworth._ The sidewalks were filled with artists of all ages expressing their creativity with chalks._ It's so fun to watch the designs progress throughout the day and listen to stories behind their artwork. We have a lot of talent in Ellsworth and the surrounding areas, so it's nice to have a fun event like this for everyone to enjoy the day outside and create some really beautiful art. Most of the participants will say they are not artists and are just here to have a good time, which is really great, but they also make some truly beautiful artwork for everyone to enjoy._ We do have the weather to worry about when doing this event, but the rain held out just long enough for the judges to come thru and make their decisions. We then had a people's choice vote online after the event as well to finalize all the winners._ It was an amazing day filled with happy people. We are excited to do it again next year!_ Winners Announced! First, thank you to everyone who made this day so fun and successful!_ The Grand Prize and Honorable Mentions were chosen by our judges this year, Carley from Niki's Eastender and Brett from Broz Bar (thank you both for your time today).
