Come and join the Pool Players from 1-3 p.m. every Monday and Friday.

Euchre Card Players will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14 and Thursday, Sept. 28.

Discovering Together Tuesday will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12. Wisconsin author, Mike O’Connor, will talk about his new book called “Badger Aces: Wisconsin Fighter Aces.” He will share how one becomes an Ace Pilot and some of the stories of the over 40 Wisconsin pilots that have earned this honor including Ellsworth’s own “Ace” Roger A. Haberman. We’ll enjoy a light lunch together after the presentation.

Join the Ellsworth Senior Center on an outing at the Carpenter Nature Center - Wisconsin Campus at 1p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14. We will meet at 12:10 p.m. and carpool to the Nature Center where we will have a shorter guided hike and meet some animals of the area. There is no cost for this trip. Please call the Ellsworth Senior Center for more information at 715-273-5873.

Our new Balanced Wellness Presentation with CJ Young from Country fit will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20. Our topic will be Healthy & Hydrated. Learn about the importance of hydration and how it can affect your immunity, cognitive function and physical health.

Celebrating Seniors Gathering will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 27. Julie Huebel from the Pierce County Historical Association will be presenting “Fred Johnson, Early Selfie Photographer - Maiden Rock, WI” video and discussion. Cake and ice cream will be served following our presentation.

Unless otherwise stated, all events are at the Ellsworth Senior Center located in the basement of the old Ellsworth Public Library (312 W. Main St.) Please park in the back parking lot and enter through the back door.
