ELLSWORTH – The Cheese Curd Festival, celebrated annually in the “Cheese Curd Capital of Wisconsin,” is once again making national headlines as a finalist in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Specialty Food Festival. With a strong legacy—finishing #3 in 2024 and #10 in 2023—this year the festival is competing among 19 exceptional festivals nationwide, and it’s proud to be the only festival from the Midwest to make the list.
