WOODBURY, Minn. – At 7 p.m Friday, Dec. 1, Christ Episcopal Church will host “Christmas Around the World” as the finale of Christ Church’s 2023 Concert Series. Chris Falteisek will be the featured musician.

“Christmas Around the World” will help you get in the spirit of the holiday season. The concert will feature Falteisek’s compositions and arrangements of Christmas favorites, as well as traditional, contemporary and folk Christmas music from around the world. Stories, insights, customs, music, pictures and video will be a part of this multimedia Christmas concert.

Falteisek, a native of Prescott and resident of Hastings, Minn., started playing organ and piano for church as a sixth grader. He currently works as Minister of Music at Christ Episcopal Church in Woodbury and is an accompanist at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hastings and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in St. Paul Park. He has composed and recorded 17 albums of his personal compositions. His musical performances have taken him to Sweden, Norway and around the United States. Falteisek’s musical style is eclectic and mirrors his love of various historical periods and places.

All are welcome! No tickets are necessary. A free-will offering will be taken at the concert. Christ Episcopal Church is located at 7305 Afton Road in Woodbury, Minn.
